8:46 a.m. - Spokane Police are investigating a Robbery/Stabbing that happened in downtown on Wednesday, November 23.

Homeowner detains robbery suspect

8:40 a.m. - Just before 10 pm Tuesday, November 22 SPD responded to the area of 29th and Howard on what was initially reported as an occupied residential burglary

8:40 p.m. - The Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit is conducting a death investigation in the 100 block of west 8th.

Two families displaced after evening fire

6:35 a.m. - Two families (3 adults, 2 children and 1 dog) were displaced last night after a fire caused heavy damage to an upper level duplex unit.

9:15 p.m. - A little before 7PM SPD and Fire Department Officials responded to the parking lot of the shopping center, where a deceased subject was found.

Robbery Suspect Arrested Downtown w/ Help from Citizens

3:25 p.m. - SPD is investigating a Robbery that happened today. The suspect attempted to rob a male walking down the street and arrested shortly after by police.

SFD warns hot oil turkey fryers pose a significant risk

12:31 p.m. - The Spokane Fire Department (SFD) wants residents to be aware of the number of safety risks associated with frying their Thanksgiving turkeys.

6:10 p.m. - At 5:47 a.m., the Spokane Fire Department responded to a report of a natural gas leak at the Safeway Grocery Store located at 933 E. Mission Ave.

Riverfront Park Hours During Thanksgiving Week

3:37 p.m. - The SkyRide, Carrousel, and Ice Palace will be open Wednesday, Nov. 23. Attractions will be closed Thanksgiving, and resume normal hours Friday.
