The City of Spokane is hosting a public safety forum tomorrow at the Shadle Public Library branch to discuss neighborhood safety and answer questions people have about their neighborhoods. Discussion begins at 5:30 p.m.

The forum will begin with brief presentations from representatives of the Spokane Police Department, Spokane Fire Department and Spokane C.O.P.S. Small group discussions with each of the representatives will follow.

“Improving public safety is a community effort,” Spokane Mayor David Condon said. “This forum is a great opportunity to empower citizens to take an active part in preventing crime and increasing fire safety in their own neighborhood.”
