The Spokane Fire and Parks departments have closed the Fish Lake Trail to allow for firefighting efforts adjacent to the trail. The paved Fish Lake Trail begins at a trailhead near Government Way and Sunset Boulevard and continues to the southeast.
The closure is expected to continue at least until later in the week. The City will announce when the trail is once again open to bicyclists and pedestrians.
