Veterans Day, Nov. 11, is a Parking Meter Holiday

Parking meters don’t have to be plugged on Saturday, Nov. 11, because of the Veterans Day holiday.

Spokane Public Library branches are open as usual on Nov. 11, as is the City’s Waste to Energy Facility. Garbage pickup and curbside recycling are on a normal schedule.

Meanwhile, the City’s Municipal Court won’t be able for walk-in customers on Friday, Nov. 10, since the Spokane County Courthouse Building will be closed. Municipal Court employees will be working, however, and will be available by phone.
