Cleaning from the Corridor is an event occurring twice annually benefitting neighborhoods throughout Spokane. The event will focus on highlighting the cleanup program offered by the Office of Neighborhood Services and in partnership with Solid Waste Services and the Audubon/Downriver neighborhood council.
As part of this event residents of the Audubon/Downriver neighborhood will have the opportunity to remove unwanted trash and household items by delivering them to Finch Elementary. Elderly residents will also be able to receive the assistance of volunteers to clean off their properties.
“This is a great opportunity to help people utilize this cleanup who, without volunteer help, might not be able to have items removed from their homes,” said City of Spokane Director of Neighborhood and Planning, Heather Trautman.
If you are interested in volunteering please email Abbey Martin at amartin@spokanecity.org.
