The City of Spokane’s Community, Housing and Human Services Department (CHHS) has released a five year combined Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). The combination of federal, state, and local funds will result in an investment of nearly $29 million in the community for housing stability and public service projects.

“For the first time, the City of Spokane is releasing a five-year combined NOFA,” said Kelly Keenan, Director of Community Housing and Human Services (CHHS). “The development of the five-year NOFA will increase the stability and performance of funded projects, to establish strong connections with strategic plans and to drive systems level change.”

Funding is available to public service agencies that support the necessary and innovative projects that focus on housing stability and public service in the City of Spokane.

CHHS staff will hold technical assistance workshops at the East Central Community Center and Northeast Community Center to assist with application questions.

Those interested in applying should visit the City’s funding opportunities page. Applications are due by, 11:59 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2018. Please submit any questions regarding this NOFA to chhsrfp@spokanecity.org.
