Mayor Orders City Flags to Half-Staff In Support Of Shooting Victims

Spokane Mayor David Condon, following a declaration by President Donald Trump, directed that United States and Washington State flags at all City facilities be lowered to half-staff to honor victims of the shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, Calif..

“The Spokane community sends its deepest sympathies and condolences to all the people touched by the devastating tragedy in California,” said Condon. “We join the country in mourning those who lost their lives in this senseless attack.”

Flags will remain lowered until sundown on Saturday, Nov. 10. Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
