Main Street to See New Look To Parking Payment Method

The City of Spokane is adding the ability to pay with the Passport app/website at the kiosks on Main Street starting after 12 p.m., today, Monday, May 6.

Yellow wraps will be placed around the kiosks on Main Street which has the zone number shown on each side of the Kiosk. Cards and flyers will also be given to area businesses to help provide education along that area.

“We heard from many people who park along Main Street who wanted to use the Passport Mobile App to pay for parking,” said Jesten Ray, Parking Services Community Programs Coordinator. “This change will make it easy to pay for parking with the app across the City of Spokane. Let us know what you think!”

The Zones in the area are:

  • 801932 – 19 parking spots. (Kiosks 4,8,9) 200 W Main
  • 802032 – 6 parking spots. Share 20 angle spots with 802312. (Kiosks 1,7) 00 W Main
  • 802132 – 15 parking spots. (Kiosks 5,6) 00 E Main
  • 802212 – 5 parking spots. (Kiosk 10) 00 E Main
  • 802312 – 9 parking spots. Share 20 angle spots with 802032. (Kiosks 2,3) 00 W Main

Center angle parking will use either 802032 or 802312. It remains a 2 hour time stay. Vehicles will need to move to another block face/zone when the timestay is maximized.
