In observance of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 31, City Hall will be closed along with other City facilities, including the Waste-to-Energy facility. Parking meters don’t have to be plugged on Monday.

Garbage and clean green pickup for all customers and curbside recycling collection for Week A customers will be a day late all week, with normal Friday services planned for Saturday.

City of Spokane employees will not be available for phone or online customer service needs on Memorial Day. That includes developer services and permit functions, 3-1-1 inquiries, utility billing questions, and records requests. Spokane Municipal Court also is closed Monday.

All Spokane City Council meetings for May 31 have been cancelled. The Council will hold its Study Session on Thursday, June 3, at 11 a.m. Meetings currently are shown live on Facebook and CityCable 5, the City’s government-access cable station, and are streamed on the web at www.spokanecity.org.

Meanwhile, Riverfront Park attractions, including the Looff Carrousel, the Numerica SkyRide, the Numerica Skate Ribbon, and other activities, will be open during the holiday weekend. Details are available on the web. City golf courses are open.
