On-street paid parking meters will not require payment on Monday, Feb. 20, because of the Presidents’ Day holiday. City of Spokane offices, including MySpokane 311 Customer Service and the Development Services Center, are open as usual on Monday, and garbage pickup and curbside recycling will proceed on a normal schedule.

The Spokane City Council briefing session and legislative meeting have been cancelled for Monday, Feb. 20. Council meetings will resume on Monday, Feb. 27, with a 3:30 p.m. briefing session and 6 p.m. legislative session. Meetings are shown live on CityCable 5, the City’s government-access cable station, and are streamed on Facebook and the City’s website. Community members who want to provide testimony on an item on the Council’s agenda can sign-up online.

The Numerica Skate Ribbon, SkyRide, and Looff Carrousel in Riverfront Park are open on Monday, Feb. 20. Check the City’s web site for additional information.

Spokane Public Library branches will be closed on Presidents’ Day. Meanwhile, the City’s Municipal Court employees will be working and are available by phone on Monday, Feb. 20, but since the County Courthouse Building will be closed on that day, the court isn’t available for walk-in customers.
