Council President and Council Members proudly introduce Ryan Oelrich as the newest member to join City Council representing District 2, Position 1, filling the vacant role after Council Member Lori Kinnear was appointed Council President on July 17, 2023. 

“We had some great candidates who applied,” said Council President Lori Kinnear. “This was a tough choice, and I look forward to working with our newest council member.”

The Council conducted interviews based on Council Member prioritization of the applicants at their regularly scheduled Study Session on Thursday, August 24, 2023, and voted 5-1 on a resolution during Monday’s legislative session.

Oelrich will serve as City Council Member until the person who wins the current election for City Council Member, District 2, Position 1, will take office upon certification of the election results by the County Auditor, expected to occur on November 28, 2023.
