Mayor Brown, Transition Committees to Present Priority Recommendations

Mayor Lisa Brown will join members of her five transition committees to present their priority recommendations to the Spokane City Council on Thursday, February 1.  

Over the past several weeks, nearly 100 neighborhood, business and community leaders convened to identify challenges and opportunities related to five key priorities for Mayor Brown’s administration to address. Those include:  

·         Enhancing public safety and building trust 

·         Improving health and housing options 

·         Investing in economy and workforce 

·         Building a resilient future 

·         Enriching families and communities 

Leaders of each committee will present their recommendations during the City Council's Study Session. It will be held at the Central Library, starting at 11 a.m.
