Presidents' Day Is a Parking Meter Holiday

On-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment on Monday, Feb. 19, because of the Presidents’ Day holiday. However, please remember even when parking is free on holidays, all parking rules, including time limits, still apply.

Solid Waste Services will proceed on a normal schedule. The Waste to Energy Facility will be open.

Spokane City Hall will be open including My Spokane 311 and the Development Services Center.

The Spokane City Council briefing session and legislative meeting have been canceled for Monday, Feb. 19. Council meetings will resume on Monday, Feb. 26, with a 3:30 p.m. briefing session and 6 p.m. legislative session. Meetings are shown live on CityCable 5, the City’s government-access cable station, and are streamed on Facebook and the City’s website. Community members who want to provide testimony on an item on the Council’s agenda can sign up online.

The Numerica Skate Ribbon and Looff Carrousel in Riverfront Park are open on Monday, Feb. 19. Check the City’s website for additional information.

Spokane Public Library branches will be closed on Presidents’ Day. Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services will be available by phone only on Monday, Feb. 19.
