As part of the PlanSpokane 2046 Periodic Update to the Comprehensive Plan, the City of Spokane is hosting community visioning workshops in March to help identify the community’s desires for its next two decades.

These in-person workshops will include information, mapping exercises, and feedback opportunities related to the many topics that impact the community. Topics include land use, transportation, housing, economic development, neighborhoods, parks, governance, and more. The goal is for City planners to learn from the community and incorporate the feedback into the Comprehensive Plan which provides the roadmap through 2046.

“This is an exceptional occasion for Spokane residents to share what they would like the next 20 years to look like,” says Planning Director Spencer Gardner. “Many things can evolve and we want to hear from our community to formalize it in the Comprehensive Plan.”
