WHAT: Council President Betsy Wilkerson, along with Council Members Zack Zappone, Kate Telis, and Kitty Klitzke, will hold a press conference to discuss the Council's recent acceptance of a grant from the Department of Justice's COPS Office. This grant is part of the FY25 COPS Hiring Program (CHP), which aims to boost the Spokane Police Department's community policing efforts and crime prevention.
