Spokane Mayor David Condon issued the following statement about the decision by City Attorney Nancy Isserlis to leave the city this summer. Her last day as City Attorney will be July 1. The statement is as follows:

“Nancy Isserlis has served the city and its citizens with professionalism, dedication and commitment. Under her leadership, the city worked to bring closure to Otto Zehm’s family, dramatically reduce the list of cases in litigation and successfully negotiate numerous labor contracts. I am grateful for the four years Nancy has given the community. The city is losing a tremendous asset, but I respect her decision.”
