2014 construction season is upon us

The 2014 construction season has arrived. This year the City has more than 40 street and Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) projects on the schedule. This amounts to more than $58 million in work for the City of Spokane. For each $1 million in construction, about 25 jobs are created, which means this year’s construction projects will put more than 1,500 people to work.

This construction season is about getting the most out of every dollar while minimizing disruption to the community. We have taken a three-dimensional approach to street work to consider and integrate our needs above ground and below. The net result is fewer disruptions and greater return on investment.

Weekly construction updates can be found on the City website.

A map of all projects (PDF 1.3 MB) and a list of projects are also available.
