Neighbors in Five Mile Prairie will see some streets improvements during the 2015 construction season. A section of Panorama Drive and Maple Street will be resurfaced as part of a project to replace a water distribution pipe.
The project encompasses Panorama Drive from Christi Drive to Palm Place and Maple Street from Cascade Way to Sierra Way. During construction, people will have access to their driveways but street parking will not be available until the project is finished. Mail and garbage pickup will be coordinated.
Understanding that construction is difficult at best, the City scheduled the project around the school season, and is making sure Panorama and Maple will not be under construction at the same time. Work on Maple will begin first.
The addition of sidewalks is not currently included in the project, but sidewalks may happen at a later date if funding is available.
