Big screen movies, trivia, tasty food and a variety of entertainment will be on hand at the 2015 PEMCO Outdoor Movies at Riverfront Park in Spokane.
2015 is the third season of the Wednesday night series, set to kick off June 10th with the animated hit “Big Hero 6,” followed on June 17th by the adventure classic “Jurassic Park.
The weekly showings continue with Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes crew in “Space Jam” on June 24th (during Hoopfest week), “Back to the Future” on July 1st, iconic teen comedy “10 Things I Hate About You” on July 8th, and a timeless tale of true love, pirates and adventure in “The Princess Bride” on July 15th.
More than movies, PEMCO Movies at Riverfront Park events will include trivia, entertainment, vendors and food at each event.
Movies are shown on a 40-foot inflatable movie screen at Riverfront Park's Lilac Bowl. Bring blankets, lawn chairs and warm clothes for a comfortable evening in the park. All events are dog friendly and tobacco free. Entry is $5 per person for entertainment, trivia, food trucks and vendor fair. Five and under is free. Seating opens at 7 p.m. and movies start at dusk.
