2016 Inductees enter the Spokane Citizen Hall of Fame

Give me any chance to brag about Spokane, and I will!

It gives me so much pride to see the Spokane Citizen Hall of Fame Awards return after such a successful inaugural event last year. It makes me proud both as mayor, and as a citizen of Spokane to see. The event really highlights the quality of the people we have in this city. In six categories, more than 120 nominations came in. Clearly, we have a lot of people in this community to be proud of, and who reflect what an amazing place Spokane is.

The Spokane Citizen Hall of Fame is a wonderful way to say thank you to those who have helped shape this city, and a wonderful way to raise awareness, support, and funding for the Spokane Public Library Foundation.

Congratulations to this year’s Citizen Hall of Fame Inductees and to all our amazing nominees!
