Today, Mayor David Condon cut ribbon on the Lincoln Street Gateway Project along with several community partners. When improving this gateway, the City’s goal is to give visitors a great first impression as they enter Spokane.

The project included an art piece by 2Simmons and landscaping improvements by the contractor Cameron-Reilly LLC and the landscaping company Clearwater Summit Group Inc!

No-Li Brewing donated the stainless steel fermenter tank that Bill and Karma Simmons of 2Simmons turned into a beautiful piece of art! Their artwork really captures downtown Spokane’s industrial history. The new Lincoln Street Gateway is sure to make a lasting impression on Spokane’s visitors!

The City of Spokane has done a considerable amount of work to improve Spokane’s gateways. Past projects include the Division Street gateway and the refurbished I-90 on-ramp at Monroe Street. Next, the city is making plans to improve the Maple Street Gateway!
