Spokane Mayor David Condon has declared the month of October as Cyber Security Awareness Month!
The City of Spokane is thrilled to be participating in this National Public Awareness Campaign because maintaining the security of cyberspace is a shared responsibility in which each of us has a critical role to play. Throughout the month of October, we will be posting blogs with information on how to stay safe online. In addition, the City’s Facebook at Twitter accounts will be posting cyber security tips and tricks.
Cyber Security Awareness Month will wrap up with the Secure Spokane event on Saturday, October 27. The City of Spokane, Community Security Coalition and Spokane Falls Community College will provide information on how citizens can stay safe online and information on how small businesses can protect their sensitive information.
When: Saturday, October 27
Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
