New Look, Better Service for Parking Reservations

The City’s Parking Services and Development Services Center have teamed up to improve the on-street paid parking reservations program for special events and construction projects. New signs and enhanced notification process will provide better visibility for the parking customers and increase compliance, while reducing the applicant’s responsibility and staff time to place signage.

Tow Away Zone Sign

Parking customers may see red or orange “NO PARKING – TOW AWAY ZONE” signs on meter poles. These signs will indicate the start and end time of reserved parking as well as contact information for the applicant. Reservation signage are required to placed at least 24 hours in advance for notification and parking customers are able to pay to park in spaces up until the indicated start time and then after the time ends.

This is all part of the City of Spokane’s on-street paid parking renovation to make parking EASY, ACCESSIBLE, and CONVENIENT!
