The 2nd Annual Tree Trot was a resounding success! We are incredibly grateful to the nearly 150 participants who came out to support the willow tree nature-based playground project at the beautiful Finch Arboretum this past weekend. We had an absolute blast! Read Willow Tree Updates for mor information about the project.
A massive thank you to our generous sponsors who covered all event costs, ensuring that 100% of the registration fees go directly to the project fund! We would like to express our gratitude to Heindl Tree Care, Bluebird Tree Care, Trailhead Tree Service, Bartlett Tree Experts, Holistic Pruners, Spokane Parks Foundation, and our Premier Sponsor Sams Tree and Landscape, who provided a double sponsorship! We would also like to acknowledge Fleet Feet for their generous contribution of event supplies and Stretch Labs for offering stretching services along with a significant gift certificate for one lucky winner!
Bragging rights went to the top 10 finishers in each race—great job, everyone! We hope you will consider joining us again next year for a fun-filled day of fundraising at Finch!
