Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will be a day late all week, with Friday's pickup occurring on Saturday due to the Memorial Day holiday. Pets

The City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department requires that all pet utilizing the parks system be kept on a leash. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

During large events such as the 4th of July, pets are prohibited in Riverfront Park per Spokane Municipal Code 10.03.110
