Learn how to maintain and preserve plants including the holiday classics of Thanksgiving and Christmas Cacti, cheerful looking Poinsettias, and dazzling Amaryllis that grab everyone's attention.

Steve Nokes, Spokane County-WSU Master Gardener, shares his tips to becoming a confident gardener in this lecture sponsored by The Friends of Manito.

The lecture is free, open to public and takes place Saturday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the Manito Meeting Room (4 West 21st Ave).

About the Friends of Manito (TFM)

Established in 1990, The Friends of Manito (TFM) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides improvement funds for the general enhancement of Manito Park. Over 100 volunteers work to produce three plant sales that provide the bulk of the fundraising efforts. TFM also offers educational programs and events to further promote the community's use and enjoyment of Manito Park.

Since their beginning, The Friends of Manito has contributed over $720,000 to Manito Park.
