About the Golf Program

The Spokane Parks and Recreation Golf program maintains and operates four championship municipal golf courses all less than ten minutes from downtown Spokane. Golfers enjoy excellent facilities, beautiful scenery, and challenges for the beginner or professional. The courses include Indian Canyon, Downriver, Esmeralda and the Creek at Qualchan. The courses are operated as an enterprise fund that is not supported by tax dollars. Spokane's courses welcome major tournaments from all over the country. Special arrangements can be made by calling or submitting a written request to the attention of the golf course Professional where you wish to play. For more information, please see the golf page.
