Art in Bloom 2014 Flowers, Fabrics, and Friends.
The Friends of the Moore-Turner Gardens present a unique Flower and Quilt Show.

Come see the magic when local florists design their arrangements using colors and designs of local quilters as their inspiration! The show will have remarkable quilts and original arrangements paired together for you to see. Some of the well-regarded quilters who have loaned their works for this event are Terry Engelman and Florence Coffey. Anemone Flowers, The Gilded Lily and many other florists are participating.

Sign-up for the 10 a.m. Floral Design Class with Toi Mulligan of The Gilded Lily - learn how to design your own floral masterpiece.
Register by phone at 625.6677.
Cost is $10

Proceeds go to The Friends who support the continued preservation and maintenance of the historic Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens.

Visitors are invited to tour the Heritage Gardens during this event and throughout the seasons. Signs guide visitors through pathways explaining the accurately restored, award-winning hillside landscape and the history behind recovering the Gardens. Visitors learn about the 1900’s lifestyle of the Moore and Turner families who built the home and the hillside garden respectively. Kirkland Cutter designed the home sited on the current lower parking lot.

The Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens are free and open to the public seasonally and in September, Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The gardens are closed for the winter beginning in October.
