Riverfront Park is celebrating the 4th of July with a day of family-friendly activities and a spectacular fireworks show sponsored by A to Z Rental.

Half-price day passes ($11, normally $22) are offered for the carrousel, IMAX, mini golf, and amusement rides.

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Costume pet parade

12:00 – 9:00 p.m. Public market and food vendors

12:00 – 9:00 p.m. 5,000 American flags handed out to kid, sponsored by Numerica Credit Union

12:00 – 10:30 p.m. Beverage garden, sponsored by No-Li Brewery

2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Pie eating contest

3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Hot dog eating contest

5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Live entertainment by guitarist Stephen King

7:30 – 8:00 p.m. National Anthem; special remarks from Mayor Condon and Fairchild Air Force Base Commander Col. McDaniel; Color Guard, Fife and Drum Corps

8:00 – 10:00 p.m. Spokane Jazz Orchestra concert

10:00 – 10:25 p.m. A to Z Rental Patriotic 4th of July Fireworks
