The Friends of Manito 2017 calendar featuring beautiful pictures of Manito Park is now available, and makes a great gift!
They are available for purchase at Rosauers on 14th, 29th, Browne's Addition and the "Y" and at the Friends of Manito office located in Manito Park at 4 West 21st Ave. (Office hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am - 1 pm).
About the Friends of Manito (TFM)
The Friends of Manito (TFM) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides improvement funds for the general enhancement of Manito Park. Over 100 volunteers work to produce three plant sales that provide the bulk of the fundraising efforts. TFM also offers educational programs and events to further promote the community’s use and enjoyment of Manito Park.
The Friends of Manito has contributed over $900,000 to Manito Park. Recent projects completed are the new gazebo in the Rose Garden to commemorate TFM’s 25th year anniversary, the picnic shelter at the upper Manito playground, hosta gardens near the Park Bench, enhancements to the Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese garden and significant contributions to the Mirror Pond Restoration Project.
