SPOKANE – Riverfront Park is gearing up for spring with new activities for all ages, including an outdoor market, an interactive puzzle that encourages kids to explore downtown to find clues, and a variety of health and fitness programs.
“It's exciting to safely bring back more activities for the public,” said Riverfront Park director Jon Moog. “Working with local businesses to activate the park for the enrichment of our community is a real win-win for everyone.”
Riverfront Moves
Riverfront is pleased to safely offer a variety of health and fitness programs at the Pavilion this spring. Riverfront Moves activities will have COVID safety protocols, limited class sizes, and contact tracing. Pre-register for each week’s classes on the Riverfront website.
Tuesdays, March 16 – April 6, 2021
Presented by Hooptown USA
This 30 minute, high-intensity workout will get your heart pumping through a variety of exercises with a basketball twist. Instructed by former college/pro athletes, stations will include jumping, shooting, dribbling, and running – all with a basketball in your hands. Every skill level and ages 10+ are welcome to participate in this workout that will make you forget that you are exercising!
Two 30-minute sessions: 5:30 and 6:00 P.M.

Core 4 Collective is showcasing four of its most popular classes to strengthen your entire body through specially curated movements with a high intensity kick set to the best playlists.
One-hour sessions from 5:30 – 6:30 P.M. Registration available beginning six days prior to each session.

Zumba is a fun fitness program that combines Latin and international music with easy to follow dance movements. Routines incorporate alternating fast and slow rhythms to help imrprove cardiovascular fitness. Bring your mom, bring your friends. Zumba is for everyone!

Pulse and shake in the Barre Code’s 50-minute signature class that combines barre work and isometric movements to fatigue your muscles while remaining gentle on your joints.

Spring Scramble

Scramble to downtown, solve the puzzle, and earn a treat bag full of goodies. Look for the Spring Scramble signs and displays at various locations through downtown Spokane and Riverfront Park. Unscramble the words to complete the crossword puzzle. Show your completed worksheet at Whiz Kids in River Park Square on the 3rd floor, or at the Sky Ribbon Café in Riverfront Park, to claim your goody bag. In partnership with Downtown Spokane.
Spring Market

Building on the success of the Winter Market at the Pavilion, Riverfront is kicking off a Spring Market with local vendors every Wednesday from April 7 through May 12 from 3 – 7 P.M. Vendors will be announced as the market opening date nears. Vendor application available on the Riverfront website.
