This morning, City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Director Garrett Jones and Spokane Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Adam Swinyard and shared a historic partnership proposal recommending updates to Spokane's schools, parks and neighborhoods.  

The proposal, Together Spokane, is based on years of community input, study, and a commitment to making improvements that will reach every Spokane neighborhood. 

This historic effort aligns two proposed ballot initiatives to maximize taxpayer investments in: 

  • Youth Wellness 
  • Healthy Neighborhoods & Adult Recreation
  • Education & Workforce Development 
  • Public Safety 
  • Arts & Culture
