Spokane Police Department is asking for assistance investigating an assault

The Spokane Police Department is asking for the public's assistance to identify two females who witnessed an assault on 10-6-13 between 4:30-5:20 p.m. near Garry Middle School.

Spokane Police are looking to identify two white female witnesses who were at the scene of an assault that occurred near the playground equipment at Garry Middle School and may have seen the incident unfold. One of the potential witnesses was driving a white van. The female driver pulled over and watched the incident. The second female witness was standing by a white car that was parked near the playground equipment. It is unknown if the female was the owner of the car or if she was just standing by the car in the park.

Detectives are looking for anyone who may have witnessed this assault. If you were in the area of Garry Middle School near the playground equipment on 10-6-13 between 4:30-5:20 p.m. please call Crime Check at 509.456.2233 and a detective will contact you for follow up.
