Yesterday at 7:48 p.m. - On 06-18-18, SPD responded to a shooting incident near Nevada/Wellesley. One male is deceased, no on-going threat to the community.

Stabbing in North Spokane Sends One Women to Hospital

Yesterday at 9:36 a.m. - Stabbing in northeast Spokane sends one to the hospital; the suspect was located a few blocks away.

Child Rape Suspect Arrested

Yesterday at 9:32 a.m. - Friday, SPD investigated a sexual assault. After an investigation, Detectives arrested and booked the step father for 2nd degree Rape of a child.

Major Crimes Called out to Investigate Serious Auto/Pedestrian Crash

June 17 at 12:36 a.m. - SPD's Major Crimes Unit came out to investigate a crash tonight @ Northwest & Cannon. Northwest was closed for about 2 hrs but has now reopened.

A male in West Central is injured in drive-by shooting.

June 15 at 4:34 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Unit investigated a West Central shooting that left a male with a gunshot injury.

Major Crimes Detectives investigate Hillyard shooting.

June 15 at 4:33 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Unit investigated a Hillyard shooting that left a male with a life threatening injury.

Robbery Arrest

June 14 at 8:09 a.m. - SPD investigated an armed robbery at the Mission and Hamilton Safeway on June 11. On June 13 an officer located the suspect and he was arrested.

SPD Locates Stolen Budget Rental Van

June 13 at 4:49 p.m. - SPD has located the Budget rental van reported to have children in the cargo area that caused significant concern for their safety.

Non-Fatal Overnight Shooting

June 13 at 11:09 a.m. - SPD officers responded to 5500 N Regal St to a report of a male that had been shot. An investigation and K9 track was not able to locate the suspect.

June 12 at 1:11 p.m. - Major Crimes Detectives book Lewis and Clark High School threat suspect.

Two suspects in custody after vehicle pursuit through Spokane

June 7 at 11:59 p.m. - Two arrested after lengthy pursuit through Spokane. The vehicle was stolen in a carjacking at gunpoint on June 2nd in Spokane Valley.

SPD Investigating a Fatal Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Collision

June 4 at 5:25 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department is investigating a fatal Auto vs Pedestrian collision that happened at 2nd and Browne, in downtown.

Vehicle and Body Recovered From Spokane River

June 2 at 8:22 p.m. - SPD, SCSO and SFD have recovered a vehicle found crashed in the Spokane River in April. An unidentified deceased person was found inside the vehicle.

Suicidal Man Causes School Lockdown in North Spokane

May 31 at 3:06 p.m. - Three Spokane Schools were locked down after a Spokane man threatening suicide was reported nearby. The man was quickly detained by Spokane Police.

May 28 at 9:10 p.m. - SPD made an arrest in stabbing that occurred today. Officers arrested her after she was spotted by Spokane Transit Authority Officers at the Plaza.

May 22 at 11 a.m. - Shooting suspect, Christopher Felch, was located and arrested. Felch was the suspect from a shooting on May 17th, 2018 near 2000 W. Broadway.

April 20 at 2:49 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit arrests arson suspect. Arrest leads to three additional felony charges.

DUI collision in Northeast Spokane injures two, including child.

April 8 at 9:40 p.m. - DUI causes two vehicle collision, sending adult female and six-year-old child to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

April 7 at 10:50 p.m. - On 04-07-18 just before 7:30 PM, SPD responded to a shooting at a residence in the 3100 block of E 8th Ave. A deceased adult was located.

Church Burglarized/Vandalized Overnight; Guitar Stolen

April 6 at 9:40 a.m. - SPD is asking for help solving a burglary/vandalism that happened overnight. A church was broken into and thousands of dollars of damage was done.

April 5 at 7:38 p.m. - Spokane Police are investigating the body of a deceased person found inside the Spokane Materials and Recycling Technology (SMaRT) Center.

March 20 at 3:56 p.m. - Officer John Scott terminated after Internal Affairs investigation.

Stabbing at House of Charity

March 19 at 3 p.m. - Spokane Police received a report of a male who was stabbed in front of the House of Charity at 32 W Pacific.

Major Crimes Forwards Charges for Homicide Suspects

March 12 at 8:20 p.m. - MCU forwarded felony charges for suspects from last week’s homicide. Marcus Arevalo & Ramiro Sanchez are still in Kennewick on unrelated DOC warrants.

Deputy and Officer Involved Shooting in Hillyard Area

March 12 at 4:26 p.m. - SIRR Team is investigating an Officer Involved Shooting (OIS) which took place during a court ordered eviction.

MCU makes Arrest in Homicide Case with Help of Kennewick PD

March 10 at 7:26 p.m. - The Major Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Kennewick Police Department, has made two arrests in the homicide case from two nights ago.

March 9 at 10:12 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a local gas station.

March 9 at 10:01 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department arrested protestors for trespassing at a Downtown office building.

March 9 at 9:59 a.m. - On March 5th, officers responded to an assault in downtown Spokane on the Centennial Trail.

March 8 at 10:55 p.m. - On 03-08-18 a gunshot was heard near the 800 block of E Hoffman. A short time later a male was brought to Holy Family Hospital with a gunshot wound.

March 4 at 6:37 p.m. - On 03-04-18 a little after 5PM, SPD received calls near Division and Rockwell of a male swinging a machete and threatening pedestrians.

March 2 at 9:58 p.m. - SPD responded to calls of a possible active shooter downtown Spokane. A male was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail.
