Sept. 9 at 3:45 p.m. - SPD arrest a man for drive by shooting, and work with Homeland Security who are investigating the suspect for attempting to obtain Fentanyl.

Sept. 9 at 3:43 p.m. - Officers responded to a 911 call of a man who had sustained significant self-inflicted injuries and was fading in and out of consciousness.

Convicted Felon Shoots at SPD Officer

Aug. 13 at 1:05 p.m. - Suspect shoots at officer's car leaving him unable to pursue due to the vehicle damage. After a long search, the suspect was located and arrested.

Felon released after conviction for felony indecent exposure.

Aug. 12 at 6:14 p.m. - Richard A Sala (29) was convicted of indecent exposure, a class C felony, and then released.

Jan. 24 at 4:20 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department (SPD) has arrested Ashley S. Horning (25) for the homicide at 2100 E. Cataldo Avenue.

Officer Involved Shooting

Jan. 24 at 10:17 a.m. - SPD officers were involved in an officer involved shooting (OIS). It is being investigated by the Spokane Investigative Regional Response (SIRR) Team.

North Spokane Shooting

Jan. 22 at 10:12 a.m. - SPD responded to a north side neighborhood for a shots fired call last night. The incident erupted from on ongoing dispute between a couple neighbors.

UPDATE: Drive By Shooting in North Central Spokane

Jan. 21 at 1:18 p.m. - SPD, following up on the shooting on Atlantic, executed a search warrant on a vehicle seized that night. Officers recovered multiple firearms.

Officers Injured in Violent Encounter with Domestic Violence Suspect
