On 7/15/24 just after 3am, Spokane Police responded to a call at the 6000 block of N. Addison St. about a large group of people fighting with a shot fired. Police arrived to find numerous people fleeing the area, both in cars and on foot. Officers stopped a vehicle leaving the scene occupied by 4 people including 3 juveniles, whom it was learned, were all involved in the fight that took place during a party in the parking lot of the location. Officers removed the occupants from the car and observed a handgun on the back seat. The investigation showed at one point during the party, the teenage driver went to the vehicle, got the gun and fired a shot. No injured persons were found.

Jordan L Boren (18) was booked into the Spokane County Jail on Drive-By Shooting and 2nd Degree Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

On 7/13/24 around 6:30am, police responded to a report of a drive-by shooting in the area of N. Wall St. and W. Francis Ave. Several neighbors reported 3-4 shots were fired at a residence and a suspect fled in a distinctive car. Neighbors also relayed the car is frequently seen at a home on the 5900 block of N. Wall St. Upon arrival officers discovered 2 vehicles at the residence with bullet holes. The residents of the home were contacted and confirmed there were no injuries. Officers conducted an interview but the residents were not cooperative. It appears this was a targeted drive-by and the victims likely know the suspect. Anyone with information on this shooting is encouraged to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233 reference case #2024-20139653.
