Description

A proposed amendment to Chapter 3, Map LU-1, Land Use Plan Map and a concurrent amendment to the City of Spokane Official Zoning Map. This project is a city-sponsored application for a 2023/2024 Comprehensive Plan Land Use Amendment.

The South Logan Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Project will support more connectivity and livability in the South Logan area for the community, businesses, and organizations in the Logan Neighborhood. The project leverages the recently built STA City Line bus rapid transit route through the area to create a focused community vision and policies that encourage mixed-use, walkable places close to transit.

After adoption by resolution of the South Logan TOD Plan and Final Environmental Statement (FEIS) by City Council on January 29, 2024, this Comprehensive Plan Amendment proposal seeks to implement the land use and zone designations envisioned in the Plan.

Other recommendations made in the South Logan TOD Plan related to Spokane Municipal Code amendments are under consideration for adoption by the City. See the South Logan TOD Project webpage for more details.
