The City of Spokane Engineering Department is proposing a 0.8-1.0 million gallon CSO tank. The proposed tank will be 55' wide X 275' long X 30' deep and is being proposed as part of the Dept. of Ecology's mandated CSO reduction program. The site is currently home to a gravel parking lot, commonly referred to as the Bosch Lot. Once the tank is constructed, the site will continue to operate as a surface gravel parking lot, but the grade will be more consistent with the grade of the street. The proposal falls within the Shoreline Jurisdiction and requires a Shoreline Conditional Use Permit.
A public hearing was held on this proposal on December 17th, 2015 at 9AM in the Council Briefing Center at 808 W Spokane Falls Blvd, Lower Level Spokane, WA 99201. The decision was issued on December 21st, 2015 by the Hearing Examiner. The date of the last day to appeal is January 11, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
