Description of Project

The applicant is proposing to convert an existing single-family home into a community service use. The applicant owns an institutional building directly to the east where they operate an existing community service use – Life Services. They have purchased the subject site and intend to operate one of their specific programs – The Fatherhood Initiative – out of this existing single–family home. Very little work is proposed to the site, other than the installation of an ADA ramp on the front of the building and a new exterior staircase on the west side of the building to provide easier access to the basement. All this work would be completed with subsequent building permits.


A virtual hearing was held on March 25, 2021 at 9AM. The decision was issued on April 20, 2021 by the Hearing Examiner. The date of the last day to appeal is May 11, 2021.
