The City of Spokane Water Department is proposing to replace two existing well pump stations underground and construct two concrete masonry buildings above ground, each approximately 1,000 square feet. A variance is also requested to reduce the front yard setback to zero feet. This requires a Type III application, and there will be a Public Hearing in front of the City Hearing Examiner. A Community meeting was held at Madison Elementary School on June 10, 2015.
There will be a public hearing on this proposal before the City of Spokane Hearing Examiner on Thursday, August 27th, 2015 at 9 a.m. in the City Council Briefing Center, Lower Level of City Hall.
