Description of Project

Preliminary Short Plat (Type II)

The applicant is proposing to subdivide one parcel (approximately 13.05 acres) into 8 parcels for future multi-family development. The plat will be served by City of Spokane sewer and water. This application is processed as a Type II application.

Planning Director Decision and Notice of Right to Appeal

Appeals or requests for reconsideration of decisions by the Planning and Development Director are governed by Spokane Municipal Code 17G.060.210 - Appeals.

Decisions of the Planning and Development Director regarding Type I or II applications are final unless appealed to the City of Spokane Hearing Examiner.

The last day to appeal the decision to approve the preliminary plat (Approved with Conditions) and/or SEPA determination (MDNS) is the 6th day of February 2024 at 5 p.m. See SEPA section of this webpage below.

In addition to paying the appeal fee to appeal the decision, the ordinance requires payment of a transcript fee to the City of Spokane to cover the costs of preparing verbatim transcript and otherwise preparing a full record for the City Council.

SEPA Review

The comment period for this SEPA ended on December 12, 2023. This Mitigated Determination of Non-significance (MDNS) was issued under the optional DNS process in section 197-11-350(1) WAC. There is no further comment period on the MDNS; the lead agency will not act on this proposal for at least 14 days from the date of issuance. Appeal of this MDNS must be received within 14 calendar days after the signing of this MDNS (Deadline to Appeal is February 6th, 2024, at 5 pm). The SEPA MDNS is available for review.
