The warm weather has arrived and it's time to hang up those ice skates and put on some wheels! Riverfront is now offering roller skating and scootering on the Numerica Skate Ribbon! Admission to the ribbon is free during roller skating season. Roller skates and scooters are available to rent – visitors wishing to bring their own roller skates, non-motorized scooters, or skateboards are welcome. Helmets are required by law, please bring your own or borrow one of ours. The Numerica Skate Ribbon shares a ticketing facility with the SkyRide that includes a café with a variety of delicious food, a large windowed indoor dining area, as well as a patio.
Skate rental counter may close during wet weather to limit water damage to rental equipment.

We ask all groups of 10 or more to submit a Group Visit Form in advance. This not only alerts us to your presence at the park, but enables us to provide the best possible experience for your group. Groups of 10 people or more receive a 15% savings when paying on a single transaction. Please submit your Group Visit Form a minimum of seven days before your visit.

With a diverse menu of offerings made in-house with the freshest ingredients, the Sky Ribbon Café is your new go-to downtown food spot. Take a fresh wrap, sandwich, or salad from the go-case, or order up one of the signature menu items. Dine in and enjoy downtown views from the patio or the large windows of the dining area, or just grab and go!

Riverfront Park's ice ribbon consists of a 16' wide and 650' long pathway with a 3,500 square foot attached pond. Skaters can experience slight inclines and declines as they make their way around a path of ice surrounded by beautiful Northwest inspired landscape. Complementing the ice ribbon are large, cozy fire pits for spectators and skaters alike to sit around and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa. The ice ribbon shares a ticketing facility with the SkyRide that includes a café with a variety of delicious food and large windowed dining area.

The Ice Ribbon has the ability to host up to 300 skaters on the meandering path in the heart of downtown Spokane. If you have over 30 skaters please make a reservation at least one week in advance by filling out the following form.
On the day of the outing, we'll adjust your invoice to the actual number of skaters and one payment can be made with Cash, Check (ID required), Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Purchase Order. In order to qualify for group rates, one total payment must be made.
Please arrive with your group at least 30 minutes before your scheduled reservation to allow time to fit the skaters with skates. We have over 800 pairs of skates ranging in all sizes to accommodate all! If this is a youth group, please arrange one adult chaperone per ten kids.

During your ice skating field trip to The Ice Ribbon, students will have the opportunity to explore the dips and climbs of a wandering ice trail at Riverfront Spokane. The Ice Ribbon can accommodate 300 skaters and the Sky Ribbon Café will be open during your field trip for students who would like to purchase a snack.
Riverfront Spokane's school field trip program offers a discounted rate of $9.00 per skater and includes admission, two hours of skating and skate rental. Please arrive with your group at least 30 minutes before your scheduled reservation to allow time to fit your students with skates. We have over 800 pairs of skates ranging in all sizes to accommodate all! Please arrange one adult chaperone per ten kids.

Figure skates come in women's sizes and have a straighter blade surface with a front toe pick. Hockey skates come in men's sizes and have a slight curve at the front tip of the blade and no toe pick.

There is convenient parking in Lot 6 and Lower Lot 6 just off Post Street north of the runners. Rates are $6 per day. There is also a parking garage just across the street from the Ice Ribbon at River Park Square. Their rates are $1.25 per half hour or $10 per day or $4 after 5 p.m. Their hours are Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m. - 1 a.m.; Friday and Saturday, 6 a.m. - 1 a.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. - 1 a.m.
Riverfront Park will be offering free group beginner skate lessons Saturdays and Sundays beginning December 1. Groups are limited to 15 and run 30 minutes per session. Sessions will be:
