What happens when you’re stuck between a king who wants to use your skills to justify his crown, a man who wants to blow up the government, and a due date for your next script? Not sure? Follow our very own William Shakespeare as he finds his way, with the help of some developing characters, his newest “friend,” and his trusty quill.
Explore the tumultuous political climate of 1605 London, the Gunpowder Plot – a conspiracy to blow up the houses of parliament – and the inner workings of Shakespeare’s mind as he writes the famous Macbeth!
The performance will take place in the Snxw Mene Amphitheatre, formally Canada Island, in Riverfront Park.
Grab a blanket, a picnic, and your family and friends for a night under the stars in a beautiful Spokane Park. Please note: late summer evenings can be chilly, so we please bring a sweater. We would hate for you to miss the ending!
All performances are FREE to the public, with S3 collecting donations. You can reserve your “ticket” and pre-donate to S3 via their ticketing link. Or learn more about the show on the Spokane Shakespeare Society website.
