Roots of Peace is launching Legendary Nights, a free late night basketball program focused on violence prevention, community connection, and creating safe spaces for youth and young adults. Taking place weekly throughout July and August at the Hooptown USA basketball courts in Riverfront Park, this program offers fun, fitness, and valuable resources in a welcoming environment.
In partnership with Lilac City Legends, Legendary Nights features basketball activities, safety workshops, and engaging programming for youth, women, and men. We’re proud to collaborate with Spokane based organizations including A Women's Worth, The Black Lens, and Northeast Youth and Family Services to provide meaningful support and community services.
Attendees will also have access to free meals provided by nonprofit partners, as well as connections to local public safety organizations offering resources.
The goal of Legendary Nights is to give youth and community members a safe and positive place to gather, stay active, and access helpful tools and information—all completely free and open to the public.
Join us on Friday evenings in July and August for this empowering community program.
