The City of Spokane H.O.M.E. Starts Here Fund is accepting donations to support individuals and families affected by the ongoing wildfires. Every dollar donated will go directly toward meeting the needs and supporting recovery efforts for those impacted.
Donations made to the City of Spokane (EIN 91-6001280) for fire relief are tax-deductible as charitable contributions to the extent allowed by law. Please keep a bank record or written receipt of your gift for tax purposes — donations of $250 or more require a written acknowledgment from the City, which we will provide. We encourage donors to consult IRS Tax Topic 506 or their tax advisor for guidance on their individual situation.
The Innovia Foundation is accepting donations to support nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community organizations working to meet the needs of those impacted by wildfires in our region.
Catholic Charities Eastern Washington has set up an emergency fund to help support individuals and families. Your donation will help their Emergency Response team provide essential items, housing, counseling, support, and short/long term assistance to those impacted by this devastating fire.
Second Harvest Inland Northwest is collecting donations to help keep local pantries and Mobile Markets stocked with healthy food.
The Wildfire Relief Donation & Distribution Site at the NorthTown Mall, 4750 N. Division Street, is open for community donations daily from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. They are looking for school supplies, bedding, non-perishable food, baby supplies, pet food and care items, hygiene supplies, kitchenware, and paper goods.
Second Harvest is accepting non-perishables at 1234 E Front Ave. Mondays through Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Spokane Humane Society is collecting pet supplies at its main campus, 6607 N Havana St.
SpokAnimal is collecting pet supplies at 710 N Napa St.
Project Beauty Share is collecting donations at 2718 E Sprague Ave. They are looking for hygiene products: toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine products, soap, razors, lotion, deodorant, hair brushes, combs, lip balm, etc.
American Red Cross is looking for volunteers. Fill out a volunteer application on their website.
