The CoC Board voted to approve the FY2023 CoC Consolidated Application for submission to HUD on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
The CoC Board of Directors met on September 13, 2023 to review, vote and approve the RFP and Evaluation Committee’s Priority Listing which shows a ranking of all projects prioritized in Tier 1 and Tier 2, which is how the projects will be submitted to HUD. The WA-502 CoC is initiating a Request for Proposals (RFP), for new CoC permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing, joint transitional rapid rehousing, or supportive services only – coordinated entry projects to serve persons experiencing homelessness and survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking under the FY 2023 CoC Program Competition. The CoC RFP & Evaluation Committee has extended the deadline for new project applications to Friday, August 25 at 11:59 PM PST. Applications must be submitted electronically, in PDF format to chhscoc@spokanecity.org. Questions should be directed to the CHHS Department at chhscoc@spokanecity.org.

The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development released a Supplemental CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity to Address Unsheltered and Rural Homelessness. In response to this new funding opportunity, the Spokane/Spokane County Regional CoC is initiating a Request for Proposals (RFP), for new CoC projects.

This Supplemental NOFO is a separate competition from the annual CoC HUD funding opportunity and requires a separate application. Unlike previous HUD funding opportunities, this is a highly competitive process where Spokane is not guaranteed to receive any funding

DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR NEW PROJECT APPLICATIONS
Due to significant community interest, the deadline for new project applications under the FY 2017 Continuum of Care Program RFP for Permanent Housing is extended to August 24th at 5:00 PM. No new applications will be accepted beyond this revised deadline.
Please note that this deadline extension does not apply to renewal project applications for grants currently funded under the Continuum of Care Program. The application deadline for renewal grant applications remains August 18th at 5:00 PM.
