Narrative: On Sunday, April 13 at 12:47 a.m. the Spokane Fire Department responded 4 Engines, 1 Ladder, 1 Heavy Rescue, and 2 Battalion Chiefs to a reported structure fire at 1428 W Mallon. SE3 arrived within 3 minutes and reported a garage and two exposures on fire, SE3 advanced a lead to protect the exposures and to extinguish the garage fire. As additional companies arrived on-scene they advanced a second hose lead to assist with fire attack and structure protection and connected a water supply hose line to the hydrant. The quick attack diminished the fire in the garage, and the fire on the outside of the two exposures were also extinguished. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.

Cause: The cause is under investigation by SIU

Damage: Total loss on the garage, fire danage to the exposures siding
