Position runs from mid-June to mid-August including evening swim meets. Work schedules will vary between early mornings to midafternoon between Comstock, Shadle, and Witter Aquatics center. Duties include but are not limited to the supervision of all swim team participants, developing seasonal goals, workouts, hosting swim meets, data entering with Meet Manager. This position will also assist with any maintenance and custodial duties along with keeping records and reports.Desired skills include: Ability to work individually and as a team member Interest and ability to work with children and have the ability to work with swimmers of all levels Have excellent communication skills [ability  to answer phones, and speak with public] and decision-making skills Thorough knowledge and application of facility rules and policies Experience with computers and using HY-Tek Meet Manager software preferredPart-time 10 - 20 hours per week

Maintain appropriate fitness level. Outdoor Program Shuttle Staff

JOIN OUR SUMMER STAFF!Spend the summer in a natural and beautiful environment!This individual will be responsible for being one of two staff who operate the Little Spokane River Shuttle Service. This position requires loading and unloading personal water craft (canoe, kayak, or SUP) onto a trailer, and transporting shuttle riders from the Nine Mile take-out to the Saint George's put-in. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a risk-reduced environment, interacting with the public, and representing the agency in a positive manner. The shuttle will run every Saturday and Sunday from early July to early September. Outdoor Program Trip Leader

Streets Temp Seasonal

The employee in this position will be responsible for performing semi-skilled manual work in various Streets departments. Duties are routine requiring some independent judgment in making minor decisions. Employee will be responsible for assisting the sealing crack crew with various tasks, shoveling asphalt, flagging, cutting weeds and driving six (6) wheel dump trucks primarily for the asphalt crew when needed.   Employee may have contact with other than immediate associates and the public.  Duties are very heavy in nature requiring considerable physical activity, and are performed under hazardous or adverse weather conditions.BEHAVIORAL STANDARDSRespectful, courteous, and friendly to customers, other City employees, and City leadership. Summer Camp Instructor

Monday thru Friday during the camp season. The instructor is tentatively hired to teach the camps, however, the class minimum enrollment must be met before the camp will be held. The instructor must be present on the scheduled class dates.

This position pays $16.00 per Hour
