The City of Spokane invites applications for the position ofTemp Seasonal -ARPA Program CoordinatorPOSITION PURPOSE:The American Recovery Plan Act/ARPA Program Coordinator for the City manages the programs allocated by City Council related to the allocation of American Rescue Plan Act dollars. This position works closely with City Staff, Council Members, and local agencies to facilitate moving ARPA project proposals allocated through the Request for Proposal, award process and monitoring.NATURE OF WORK:The Coordinator is broadly responsible for managing the City Council's ARPA allocation-related procedures. The Coordinator will be the main point of contact for all parties with interest in the ARPA process. They will assist groups and individuals in developing Requests for Proposal, implementing Neighborly Software, managing the award process, and monitoring for complianceSUPERVISION:This "at-will" position performs with considerable independence and serves at the discretion of the Accounting/Grants Director who will work closely with City Council’s Budget Manager to oversee the whole program.Typical hours for this position will be M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 30-35 hours per week.Flexible schedule options available.

Sports Officials (Flag Football Referees and Softball Umpires)

Our team is looking for adult and youth flag football referees and adult softball umpires. The primary duties of a sports official are to officiate assigned games for league and tournament play. Must be able to make instantaneous decisions on rules of play set forth by Spokane Parks and Recreation. Decisions should be made based on rules and policies set forth by the department. Approx. 2.5 - 20 hours a week, based on availability.Paid training is also available. This may include mechanics and rules of the game both on the filed and in the classroom and de-escalation training.Hourly pay is $16.50/hr or more Depending On Experience.
