Join State Legislators, City Council Members and Community Leaders for the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new facility of the Peaceful Valley Youth Program at All Saints Lutheran Church (314 S. Spruce) Dec. 6 at 11 a.m.
“The Peaceful Valley Youth Program is a huge asset to this community,” said Spokane Councilman Jon Snyder. “This new facility will expand the amount of people this program reaches.”
The Peaceful Valley neighborhood has been looking to move the Youth Program to a new facility for years now due to the condition of their current World War II-era community center. Once construction is finished, the new facility will double the programs capacity.
“This is a big step forward for the Youth Program and we are all excited to see this project come together,” said Councilman Mike Allen.
Speaker of the House Frank Chopp, State Senator Andy Billig and Representatives Marcus Riccelli and Timm Ormsby will join Snyder and Allen for the ceremony.
