Warmer temperatures will allow work to start early on Combined Sewer Overflow Tank (CSO) 6 on Northwest Boulevard. Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, March 16 at Providence Avenue.

The $9.5 million project includes:

  • installation of a 900,000 gallon storage facility
  • installation of a new sewer main
  • utility improvements to water and storm water mains
  • new pavement
  • new sidewalk in some areas
  • landscaping features at NW Boulevard and Providence

The detour route for vehicle traffic is G Street to Garland and back to NW Boulevard. Work is expected to last for the majority of the 2015 construction season.

This project is part of the City’s effort to deliver integrated projects that repair streets and deliver on efforts toward a cleaner river faster.
