The City of Spokane is working to make your city more pedestrian-friendly. Citizens are encouraged to learn about the draft Pedestrian Master Plan at two upcoming dates.

On Wednesday, September 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. city staff will be hosting an Open House Meeting in the Chase Gallery at Spokane City Hall. This is a great opportunity for citizens to learn about the draft Pedestrian Master Plan update and ask questions.

The following Wednesday, September 23 there will be another opportunity for citizens to ask questions prior to the Plan Commission Public Hearing. From 1 to 2 p.m. staff will be available in the Chase Gallery outside the City Council Chambers to answer questions. The public hearing will follow at 2 p.m. where the public can submit written or oral comments regarding this amendment.

Documents relating to these amendments are available for viewing at https://my.spokanecity.org/projects/pedestrian-master-plan.
